2021 Volvo XC40 vs 2021 Audi Q3: Getting more for your money

The Volvo XC40 entered the market a few years ago and has surprised many competitors with its refinement, style, interior space and performance. The center display in the XC40 is also larger than the base one in the Audi Q3 2021. Finally, interior space is a bit larger in the XC40, which offers a bit more total cargo space.
When comparing engines, both the base engine and the optional engine in the 2021 Audi Q3 are less powerful than those in the 2021 Volvo XC40. The entry-level T4 engine offers 187 horsepower vs. 184 in the Q3, while the XC40's T5 four-cylinder turbo engine offers 250 horsepower versus 228 horsepower in the Q3.
