Three New Additions That Make the 2023 Volvo S60 Recharge Rise to the Top
August 17 2022,
The Volvo S60 Recharge has been given a slight once-over for 2023, but its core elements have remained: it still has Volvo’s Recharge plug-in hybrid (PHEV) tech, meaning that for 2023, it can run for almost 95 km of pure electric driving when you’re taking your time, and then make use of both the EV and petrol-powered motors to make for some great performance as you start to hustle.
Styling upgrades
Already a handsome car in its own right with taut, handsome lines and smart detailing, Volvo has given the S60 a nip-and-tuck for 2023.
They’ve started by integrated the forward-facing sensor into the emblem so it doesn’t distract from the overall grille design, which has also been darkened for 2023. They’ve also updated the front and rear bumper styling and provided new colours and wheels to allow customers to add more uniqueness to their S60.
Infotainment
The big news on this front is the addition of Google Built-in to the S60. With Google Built-in, you can step into your car with your phone in your pocket, login to your Google profile and have access to many of the apps you’ve always loved. You can stream your Spotify music, get directions via Google Maps or even interact with your smarthome.
On top of that, Google Built-in features voice commands and the Google Assistant, who can provide information regarding your daily calendar, can automatically set your destination via Google Maps and also help control your air conditioning system, seat heaters and more.
The S60 can also now receive over-the-air updates to the infotainment system.
Interior refresh
Inside, the S60 Recharge also gets new Tailored Wool Blend upholstery. It is crafted from 30 per cent responsibly produced wool and 70 per cent polyester for a high-quality, contemporary look that also keeps in mind the sustainability required in modern vehicle production.
