Volvo owner puts 1 million kilometres on 2006 V70

Rita Neuman and her 2006 Volvo V70 have achieved a very rare milestone in the automotive world, the clocking of 1 million kilometres on her vehicle. The car in question, a 2006 Volvo V70, was purchased new 14 years ago and driven on average over 75,000 kilometres every year since.
“I originally purchased the V70 because we knew the Volvo brand represented safety and reliability,” said Rita Neuman. “The vehicle has allowed us to positively impact our community and for that, we are the grateful ones.”
Mrs Neuman and her husband are volunteer drivers for an Ottawa-based organization that provides door-to-door health care and support. Part of those million kilometres therefore came from helping their community.
“A million kilometres shows Rita’s dedication not only to her own vehicle, but also to our brand,” said Adam Kostanowicz. “Rita recently purchased a 2019 V60 from Van Herpt Motors and still continues to drive her million-kilometre V70, which truly signals her love for the iron mark.”
